Bring scrap gold, sterling, and coins to our Winston-Salem shop. From Greensboro it is a straight shot west on I-40, about 25 to 30 minutes depending on traffic around the merge.
We do not have a Greensboro counter. The only Apex shop is at 605 Walnut St SW, Winston-Salem, NC 27101.
From the Gate City
Greensboro has plenty of places that will glance at a broken chain. If you want a coin-shop counter, gold, silver, and coins priced in person, that counter is in Winston-Salem.
Most people leave from near downtown or the west side, stay on I-40 toward Winston-Salem, and are on Walnut Street in about half an hour. Park, walk in, and put the gold, silver, and coins on the glass.
We buy scrap gold at 75%. Gold coins pay much higher. Silver depends on what you have: sterling, junk silver, U.S. coins, bullion. We also buy high-end watches such as Rolex, Omega, and Breitling.

Who you will meet
Apex Gold Silver Coin is a small shop, not a chain with a Greensboro franchise. Jeff is the owner. Tania keeps the counter moving. If you call midday, she is usually the one who can tell you whether Saturday’s short window is realistic for what you have.
Come during posted hours. Monday through Friday we are open 10am–4pm. Saturday 12–3pm. Sunday we are closed. A phone call saves a wasted trip if you are leaving from the east side of Greensboro near closing time.
